Brevard County

While only an hour from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, the tourist capital of the U.S., Brevard County is a tranquil, scenic area where two basic lifestyles coexist. Tourists and retirees spend their days wandering miles of natural beaches, playing in the sun and the surf. The working community is heavily tied to Kennedy Space Center, America's space program and local high technology industries. Summer highs and winter lows range from 60's to the 90's...Fahrenheit, that is. It's hard to beat the balmy Brevard's moderate weather and consistently comfortable temperatures.

LOCAL POINTS OF INTEREST

Beaches:   Miles and miles of unspoiled beaches are available for an endless collection of watersports, world-class surfing or lazy walks in the sunset.

Golf:  Brevard County boasts 18 private and public golf facilities for enthusiasts, including a pro course or two. Most are just moments away, but even the longest trek will only be 45 minutes from home.

Kennedy Space Center: Annually, thousands of tourists visit Spaceport USA to learn more about America's venture into space. The Astronaut Hall of Fame and the world famous Space Camp are also located adjacent to the visitor's center. Just 40 minutes away.

The Florida Marlins: Brevard County plays host to the Florida Marlins, one of baseballs newest teams during spring training season. Residents get to see the action in living color. It's less than a 30 minute drive.

Brevard Zoo:  The newest point of interest, the Brevard Zoo provides educational entertainment for the entire family. A trip to the zoo is only 15 minutes from Monaco Condominium.

Port Canaveral:  Premiere Cruise Lines, the Official Cruise Line of Disney, calls this rapidly growing international port its home. A brief 25 minute ride.
